Nutritional Benefits of Quinoa
Packed with protein – 100g of quinoa contains 13g of protein. It is one of the few foods to contain all nine essential amino acids, making it a complete source of protein.
High in nutrients such as vitamins E and B. One portion of quinoa contains nearly 60% of the recommended intake of manganese, 19% of folate and 30% of magnesium.
Full of fibre – Most people don't eat enough fibre. In Britain for example, average intake is 18g a day, rather than the recommended 30g. That’s 40% too little!

As a Flour...
Quinoa flour can be easily adapted to a broad range of baking recipes. It looks and feels like an all purpose wheat flour, is great for gluten free baking and has a subtly nutty flavour which means it works well in both sweet and savoury products. We can also mill the flour at less than 5 parts per million. Around 10 -15% on flour weight is recommended as an inclusion for each. They can also be used as a topping.
